Frequently Asked Questions
How do I qualify for DVA cleaning services?
The most common path for DVA cleaning funding is Household Services. You may be eligible for Household Services through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs if you are a serving or ex-serving member of the Australian Defence Force who is unable to manage household tasks because of a condition accepted under the DRCA or MRCA. You will need to complete this DVA Claim for Household Services form to begin the process of determining whether the DVA can reimburse the cost of household services for you.
Do you follow DVA cleaning rates?
Yes, of course! As a trusted DVA Household Services Provider, we will always follow the DVA Household Services rate that is set every calendar year.
What happens when my approved service period ends?
If your approved service period ends while you are receiving DVA cleaning services from Maid2Match, we will contact you to assist with the administration of setting up your new documentation. If you no longer are approved to receive DVA funding, we would love to continue supporting you with regular cleaning services as a private client.
What if my Acute Support Package funding runs out early?
We understand that ASP funding can be challenging to manage, given it is a lump sum rather than a set number of approved services. We are here to assist in any way when it comes to managing your ASP cleaning funding. If your ASP funding runs out or your approval period finishes, Maid2Match can continue supporting you with the same Field Staff assigned to your booking as a private client.
What if I change from DVA cleaning services to the NDIS?
If your situation changes and you will be receiving services from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) instead of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, we’ve got you covered! We are Australia’s leading NDIS cleaning service provider and will ensure we smoothly transition your service accordingly. Please reach out to us if this is the case and our NDIS team will assist with getting your documentation organised in order to maintain regular cleaning services.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
Nope! Our DVA cleaners are all permanent employees who will show up to your home wearing a Maid2Match uniform and bringing all the cleaning equipment required for the service. If you would like your cleaner to use certain cleaning supplies, please let us know prior to the service date and provide detailed instructions for proper usage so we can review this request.
Is it okay if I have pets at home?
Our professional cleaners love pets and frequently work around them when cleaning. You are welcome to have them inside the house while we clean, however if you have young puppies or kittens who could be curious about our cleaning supplies, it may be better if they are secured during the service.
What if I’m not happy with my service?
If there’s room for improvement with your cleaning service, please let us know ASAP! We’ll send an email after each service asking for a rating out of 5. This is optional, but receiving ongoing feedback is the best way for us to ensure we are consistently delivering 5 star cleaning services for veterans.
YOUR FEEDBACK MATTERS TO US
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
After every DVA cleaning service with Maid2Match, you’ll receive an option to provide us with feedback. This is how we ensure we maintain consistent 5-star service delivery across Australia.
If there is any opportunity for improvement with your service, please let us know. Whether it be tips for the next visit, or a request for a new Field Staff, we’re all ears.
Our full-time Support Team is just a text, call, or email away to make sure you are happy with your regular cleaning services.
